This is an original watercolor, gouache, pastel and ink illustration entitled, "The Common Cause Of Living Things". It is varnished with beeswax and casein which gives it a glossy finish. It was created in 2023 and is unframed. The picture measures 15.75" x 10.25" and is painted on Arches 300lb. hot-pressed 100% cotton watercolor paper. There is a deckled edge along the bottom of the paper and an Arches paper watermark in the lower right corner.

*The deckled edge refers to the irregular edge on the paper. Arches, which is the French brand of paper I use, crafts their paper on cylinder moulds which create "deckled edges". The natural untrimmed edge gives the paper a unique, softer feel.
