ORIGINAL-Waiting With The Wind
This is an original watercolor, colored pencil, pastel and ink illustration entitled, "Waiting With The Wind". It is varnished with beeswax and casein which gives it a beautiful glossy finish. It was created in 2024 and is unframed. The picture measures 8" x 10" and is painted on Arches 300lb. hot-pressed 100% cotton watercolor paper. There is watermark in the lower right corner and a deckled edge along the right-hand side of the paper.

*The deckled edge refers to the irregular edge on the paper. Arches, which is the French brand of paper I use, crafts their paper on cylinder moulds which create "deckled edges". The natural untrimmed edge gives the paper a unique, softer feel.
